We have recently applied for copyright for the first book in the series.
As the parts of the crowd funding campaign come together, one of the small parts is to have fun and eye catching videos to introduce the game to users and hopefully customers.
Today has been spent building the examples for the printer to get estimates of the costs involved in the printing of Set One. A major revelation has come to our attention and it will make final touches easier produce a better product. I can’t wait to share it once it’s done
Setting the Warriors from set one was difficult. It was ambitious to have so many and so an equal number are dear to my heart over years of writing. This may be why I never questioned why a character who was not in the first book of the series made into our first set. Seeing an issue but feeling the weight of a late game swap, I located a character who would fill the same space as The Jackal and not cause any issues to the current card pool. Below is our newest addition to set one. More to come!
We were working on building current generation decks and found all of the level 3 armors were not printed. It’s a lot to omit but it’ll get handled soon.
It’s a fun idea. I wonder what crusaders with a monetary system be like?
The Magic Item pool has grown by leaps and bounds. The pool went from about 10 to 20. It will finally make it a common but still powerful card type. Much more strategic options
Working on overhauling the Item cards in Crusaders has led to a great stat. The Item card type only had 17(?!) Total in the previous version. There is now 40.
The rules and cards are being renewed. The card pool is being overhauled to a crazy extent. More to follow!
Crusaders represents about 20 years of writing for me. I started out writing the story in notebooks in largely finished it many years ago. But it was written by a kid and needed a lot of work if it was going to become what it needed to me. I spent the last few years building up the 1st book in the series and am preparing it for becoming an E book online. This is the 1st manuscript I delivered for editing. When the editing is done you’ll be seeing this online and ready for each person to share in the story.
